Ray's
Ragtime has been at its' present location since 1985. We specialize in
vintage clothing, costume jewelry, and collectables from 1900-1970's.
Ray's background includes 30 years of stage and film work from both backstage
as well as a performer. We deal with period costumes and accessories from
both a professional stage and film aspect as well as helping individuals
do vintage looks.

People are sometimes startled to see that they are shopping next to celebrities. I have heard people say things like. "That woman looks like Faye Dunaway" "I was in when Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Brown were in." "Was that really Courtney Love" "Who, George Clooney? Oh you were Booker on Roseanne." (That one was pre ER). Cynthia Heimel, author of "When Your Phone Doesn't Ring, It'll Be Me," wrote in her Village Voice column that we were the "Mecca of vintage clothing stores." We have been mentioned in Details and Glamour, as well as several Japanese magazines and European publications. Movie memorabilia, toys, quilts & textiles, art nouveau, art deco, and postmodern items drift through our doors. We have an extensive necktie collection with a representation here on our website.
